How to Register on LottoStar South Africa
Independent help for first-time players. We’re not the operator. You must be 18+ to register and play.
What you need
- SA ID (or valid passport)
- Mobile number and email you control
- Residential address (for FICA)
- Strong password manager (recommended)
Registration steps
- Visit www.lottostar.co.za and tap Register.
- Enter your mobile number and create a password.
- Provide ID/passport details and personal info.
- Confirm age (18+) and accept T&Cs.
- Complete OTP verification.
- Log in and review your profile security settings.

Mobile verification and OTP
- Keep your phone nearby; OTPs expire quickly.
- If you don’t receive an OTP, wait 60 seconds, try resend, or switch to email if available.
FICA: when and why
Operators are required by law to verify identity and address to prevent fraud and underage play. You may be asked to upload:
- Proof of ID (photo/scan)
- Proof of address (last 3 months)
- A selfie/liveness check
